STICKING OUR OAR IN......
We are very proud to be supporting a group of local Businessmen who are planning to row across the Atlantic ocean in 2014 in a bid to raise over £250k for Bolton Lads and Girls Club. We are donating marketing support over the next two years to help raise as much money as possible. We have initially created the logo and these cute little paper boats which were used to launch the project. We will be adding more about this on our blog as the story develops.

PLANTING A SEED
We were approached by Glendale; a well-known environmental management company, who asked us to unify their brand identity. Our solution was to create a hand-made ‘Glendale World’ which depicted all aspects of their business in a warm and friendly way. The client was blown away by our enthusiasm and alternative approach to their design brief. We look forward to working closely with them in the future.
THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING
We cooked up a tasty website for Musa, a brand new restaurant based at the prestigious Firstsite Art Gallery in Colchester. It was exciting to be invited to work on this project due to the calibre of both the venue and the award winning Head Chef Paul Boorman – surely a recipe for success! We look forward to continue supporting them with their marketing in the future.

STEPPING IT UP A GEAR!
Over the past few weeks we've been beavering away working on an identity for the Shield Group. They're one of the leading producers of parts to the automotive industry with clients such as JCB, Caterpillar and Jaguar. Their previous logo mark was not really up to the job, so to allow them to push their business forward we helped re-position their brand as being the leader in their industry. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be producing all the signage and way-finding for their facilities in addition to a comprehensive brand manual, we look forward to posting the fruits of our labour soon.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that we're now a RAR approved agency.
The Recommended Agency Register identifies the best design agencies based on client feedback. This appointment shows our continued commitment to providing a fantastic customer experience for our clients, in addition to great design and marketing ideas. This coincides with a couple of new account wins which we'll be announcing officially in the next few weeks.
A BLOOMING GOOD WEBSITE
After a multi-agency pitch we're delighted to announce that we are building the new website for locally acclaimed contemporary space designer Andy Kirman. Here's a sneak peak of the roots of the project. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for when the finished site goes live this summer.
SNOW NEWS IS GOOD NEWS
So, 2010 is drawing to a close, it's been a bit of a crazy year. We've moved premises, won several big new accounts and enjoyed continuing to work with many long-term clients.
Our doors are closing today whilst we sit in and wait for Santa. Don't worry though, we will be returning bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on Tuesday 4th January!
Here's hoping you all have a warm and fuzzy Christmas, we look forward to working with you again in 2011.

It has taken a few days, but we have all now recovered from the Launch Party last Friday. The Mayor of Bolton dropped by to formalise proceedings and enjoyed a pint of Flat Cap provided by the nice folk at Bank Top Brewery. Clients, colleagues and friends alike all got into the spirit of the Casino themed evening party and raised over £850 for the Mayor's charity.

The Mayor of Bolton will be officially opening our new studio on Friday 17th September, followed by afternoon tea and a charity casino night with some unbelievable prizes. The invitations have been sent, we look forward to seeing you there!
We were delighted to host the first ever marketing exchange for Lfx. The turnout was much greater than we expected, we almost ran out of biscuits!
It was widely agreed that the event was a resounding success. As a result we've heard on the grapevine that a few more of these events are pencilled in for the coming season. We'll keep you posted.
At long last, we will move into our new offices in August. This will be our second move (and our biggest to date). With double the space of our current studios, we're over the moon that we have found a space that matches our ambition. Check our twitter for news and pictures as they happen.
HIGH GROWTH PROGRAMME
To help us build on the success we have enjoyed we are spending a little time looking inwards. 2010 promises to be a big year for meme media, with a move to new offices in the pipeline and our new website going live this Autumn, things have never been busier. To top this off we have been accepted onto the High Growth Programme which will push us to keep on improving. There's no rest for the wicked.
